Dorji Namgyal Rinchhen won the 2007 Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuck Druk Air Golf Tournament, that was played at the Royal Thimphu Golf Course from October 26-28.

At the end of the two-day tournament, Dorji Namgyal Rinchhen managed a score of 10 under his handicap, a record winning score, to win two return business class Druk Air tickets to Bangkok, five nights hotel accommodation, a 29-inch flat television, 100 kg free baggage from Bangkok-Paro and the Winner’s Trophy.

Dorji Namgyal Rinchhen won the tournament for the first time in 2004.

The other winners were Ugen Dorji, who took the Best Gross, Karma Khorko, General Batoo Tshering, Tshering Penjor, Tashi Tshering, Lt Col Ugyen Phuntsho, Dasho Tenzing Yonten, Chimi Dorji, Major Rinzin Dorji, K Mishiwaka, Jigme Wangmo, Sonam Wangdi and Major Jambay Wangchuk.
