His Holiness the Je Khenpo is presiding the annual world peace prayers at Paro Kichu

His Holiness the Je Khenpo is presiding over the annual world peace prayers at Paro Kichu. The weeklong Zamling Zhidey Moenlam Tshogchen prayers began on Friday.

During the weeklong prayers, the monks of Paro Rabdey will perform neten chudru in the mornings, zangchoe moenlam in the afternoons and tshobum in the evenings.

The Moenlam Chenmo will conclude with Tse-Wang to the public on November 1 coinciding with the Lhabab Duechen.

Apart from world peace and the wellbeing of all sentient beings, the moenlam tshogchen is being being conducted for the well being of the Royal family and the peace and prosperity of the kingdom.

On arrival at Kichu lhakhang on Friday, His Holiness was received by the Dzongkhag administration, Rabdey and the sector heads.
