His Majesty the King granted an audience to India’s Deputy Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Susheel Gupta at the Tashichodzong yesterday.
Lieutenant General Susheel Gupta is in the Kingdom on a five day visit.
He arrived in the kingdom last Saturday. He was commissioned into the Indian army in 1967. Later in the afternoon the Lieutenant General also called on the Chief Operations Officer of the Royal Bhutan Army Major General Batoo Tshering.
Before he was appointed as the Deputy Chief of Army staff, Lieutenant General Susheel Gupta was the Additional Military Secretary at the Army Headquarters in New Delhi.
