Kuzu FM listeners can now listen to uninterrupted music and programs in English as well as in Dzongkha. This has been made possible with the launching of a new channel yesterday.
Kuzu FM now has two channels, one for the national language Dzongkha, and the other in English.
The new channel was inaugurated by Bhutanese author and writer Aum Kunzang Choden.
Those who want to listen to Dzongkha programs and music can tune to FM 104. This is the new channel of Kuzoo FM.
Listeners who wish to tune to Kuzu FM’s English programs should tune to FM 105.
Pema Wangdi is the program coordinator of Kuzoo FM. He said earlier both English and Dzongkha programs were broadcast on the same channel with English dominating the broadcast.
With the introduction of the new channel, people can now listen to Dzongkha music and programs 24 hours a day.

To celebrate the launch of the new channel, Kuzu FM invited Bhutanese singer Yashey Wangchuk as a guest in the studio.
