Royal Bhutan University of Bhutan visited the Indian Institute of Technology

A delegation from Royal Bhutan University of Bhutan visited the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in India this week.

The delegation was there to seek help to establish a world class management institute in Thimphu.

The team led by the Vice Chancellor of the Royal University Dasho Pema Thinley met professors from various departments.

An Indian media report says IIT Kanpur will not only help to design curriculum for a MBA course but assist develop infrastructure.

Officials also discussed issues related to faculty and student exchange program and IIT internships for Bhutanese students.

Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur is one of the premier institutions established by the Government of India.

It provides meaningful education, to conduct original research of highest standard and leadership in technological innovation.
