ALL TOUR OPERATORS

This is with regard to the change in reservation system and summer schedule announced by Druk Air recently. Some of the tour operators having shown some apprehension, Druk Air, DoT and ABTO convened a meeting today and accordingly came to the following understanding: -

Druk Air has apologised and explained that the late notification of the summer schedule was due to late air traffic clearance from respective sectors and also due to change in reservation system, which is still going on. In this regard Druk Air requests all for cooperation and support. They also like to inform all that they are trying their best to facilitate everybody in their fullest capacity.

Summer Schedule 2008

1. From 25th – 31st March 2008 the Druk Air flight schedule to be as per the summer schedule circulated on
21st January 2008 (copy attached)
2. From 1st April 2008, Druk Air has agreed to insert PBH – KTM – DEL and DEL – KTM – PBH on MONDAYS and THURSDAYS; revised schedule to be circulated in the coming week but bookings will be open from 28th January 2008.
3. Delhi flights on Fridays will be removed from 1st June 2008 onwards

Reservation, Ticketing Time Limit (TTL) and Cancellation

Reservation:

a) The existing or the old system of reservation and TTL will continue till 24th March 2008 for winter schedule(attached).
b) Summer schedule will be open for reservation/booking from 28th January 2008.
c) Reservation and booking has to be done at Druk air office as usual.

Ticketing Time Limit:

a) TTL for the summer schedule will be 24 hours till the end of March 2008.
b) The system will be customised to cater the existing TTL tentatively from 1st April 2008.

Cancellation Policy:

a) Cancellation policy will be same as now for both winter and summer schedule (attached)
b) There will be no administrative fee of USD 25 per ticket as cancellation charge as an interim measure till 31st March. Thereafter revised mechanism will be put in place.

 Additional flights for March 2008

 Reservation:

a) Reservation for the additional flights will be open from 28th January
b) TTL will be same as now till 24th March 2008
