Her Royal Highness Ashi Kezang Choden Wangchuck was married to Dasho Palden Yoeser Thinley at the Dechencholing Palace yesterday coinciding with the 13th day of the 9th Bhutanese month.
The Tendrel proceeding of the royal wedding yesterday was initiated by His Holiness the Je Khenpo.
His Majesty the King, His Majesty the fourth Druk Gyalpo, Her Majesty the Royal Grand Mother, their Majesties the Queen Mothers and members of the royal family attended the ceremony.
After the conclusion of the Tendrel ceremony including the Zhugdrel Phuensum Tshogpi Tendrey, Her Royal Highness Ashi Kezang Choden Wangchuck and Dasho Palden Yoeser Thinley were formally enjoined as a royal couple.
The royal couple the received Tashi Khadhar from His Holiness the Je Khenpo, His Majesty the King, His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo, Her Majesty the Royal Grand Mother, their Majesties the Queen Mothers and members of the royal family.
Parents and family members of the groom also presented their Tahsi Khadhar.
Cabinet Ministers, senior military officials and representatives from the international community also came to present their Tashi Khadhar.
An entertainment program was also held at the palace garden.
Her Royal Highness Ashi Kezang Choden Wangchuck has a degree in psychology from Stanford University the USA.
Dasho Palden Yoeser Thinley completed a degree in social science from Thailand.
The wedding ceremony ended formally in the Tendrey Khang-Sang with Tashi Moenlam and Tashi Labey.
