The royal civil service commission announced transfers of senior civil servants

The royal civil service commission announced today the executive appointments, transfers of senior civil servants with immediate effect.

The secretary of the Dzongkha development commission, Dasho Tashi Phuntshog, has been transferred as secretary of cultural and political affairs in the cabinet secretariat.

The former director general of the erstwhile department of aid & debt management, Sonam Wangchuk, is the director general of economic affairs in the cabinet secretariat.

The former managing director of the department of tourism, Lhatu Wangchuk, has been appointed as the director general of department of bilateral affairs in the foreign ministry.

The former managing director of Druk Air, Sangay Tenzing, has been appointed as the director general of the department of roads, ministry of works and human settlement.

The director of the roads department, Phuntsho Wangdi, has been transferred as the director of the standard & quality control authority, ministry of works and human settlement.

The former director of Royal Institute of Management, Sonam Phuntsho, has been transferred as the director of department of Information and Media, ministry of information & communication.

The commission has decided the early retirement of Dasho Rinzin Gyaltshen, former Zhung Kalyon, Dasho Karma Dorjee, former trade secretary, Dasho Pema L Dorji, former secretary of labour & human resources, Tshering Dorji, former secretary of works and human settlement, Dasho Dawa Tshering, former director general of department of forest and the former director of the Dratshang Lhentshog, Ngawang Phuntsho.
