we arrived back well and in good health. Just sad that this wonderful trip to Bhutan is over. We are certainly planning already for next year, will let you know in due time once we can work out our next years schedules.
We had a wonderful time in Bhutan, thanks for everything you did to make our stay such a good one. Your Guide Chimmi and Driver Tandi were superb in every aspect, very professional and knowledgeable every step of this trip. It was an amazing adventure, you can read so much as you want about Bhutan, you know little though until you are really there and see your beautiful country and wonderful kind people. Our visit was uplifting in every sense. Valleys, Rivers, Forest, all in perfect harmony and peace. Where in the world can you find a country where over 70% of the country is Forest, the size of Switzerland and a population of only 685000 people, Dzongs and an Architecture where every single house has a finishing of wood carved and hand painted windows and frames, where water flows everywhere and where you see only smiles ? Only in Bhutan. It makes you feel so happy. When your plane arrives in Paro and you step into this beautiful Airport Building you are full of curiosity of what is coming, by the time your trip is over and you have to leave, you sit in the pre-boarding lounge remembering what you have witnessed in the last weeks, all the departing passengers seem to be mesmerized with calming smiles all over, by the time the plane takes off and people look down at what they are leaving behind, they bite their teeth and hold back some tears of anticipated nostalgia for your wonderful land of the Dragons, truly Shangri-La. It takes away all hurry, all aggressiveness, it has an effect on getting your priorities in life corrected.
