The International Children’s Day of Broadcasting gives kids this chance. School children from Thimphu were invited at the BBS studios allowing them to be part of the programming process, to talk about their dreams and share their hopes and concerns with their peers. The children said they were excited to go on air.

Through broadcasting, young people are taught to voice opinions and concerns about their communities, their environment, friends, social issues and life.

The day is an initiative of the UNICEF to encourage broadcasters to provide a platform for the youth.
