Dear Mr. Dorji,
My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Bhutan arranged for us by your firm, Bhutan Majestic Travel Agency.
We enjoyed immensely the festivals in Thimphu and Gangtey. We travelled eastwards as far as Bumthang and saw outstanding scenery the whole time. The standard of the road in such difficult terrain was much better than we expected and we witnessed the road widening program that was being carried out, which will improve the situation even more. We visited many outstanding fortresses and monasteries, sometimes involving pleasant hikes through beautiful countryside and rice fields. Each succeeding site seemed to get better and better with the final highlight being the visit to the Tiger’s Nest monastery. Although this is a fairly arduous climb at, for us, a significant altitude, it was well worth the effort. We have travelled extensively all over the world and visited many of the classic world renowned sites but we think that the Tiger’s Nest should rank as one of the wonders of the world. We flew out of Paro airport which was also a very comfortable experience.
Throughout our holiday, we were treated extremely well and everyone we met was very friendly and pleasant indeed; everyone always seemed to be smiling. The scenery was breathtaking and the country was generally a delight to visit. We have shown our pictures to our many friends here and described our experiences and everyone has been most impressed by what we had to report.
Our holiday was arranged directly through your firm. We have dealt with travel agencies around the world and we did not really know what to expect by going direct to a travel agency in Bhutan. We need not have worried; your firm turned out to be one of the most efficient travel agencies that we have used anywhere. Your staffs were always proactive, helping to shape our itinerary and answering fully all our questions usually by return E-mail. They dealt with all the formalities and arrangements for us and, not only that, they were extremely nice people.
I would not hesitate to recommend Bhutan as a place to consider, to anyone who likes visiting interesting and beautiful countries. In many ways, Bhutan is a real jewel in this respect. I would also recommend Bhutan Majestic Travel Agency as a reliable and efficient firm for making all the necessary arrangements as well as for advising about a suitable itinerary.
