Three people were killed and another two injured in an accident yesterday. The Land Cruiser they were traveling in fell about 150 metres below the road at Pakchina on the Pasakha-Manitar road. The accident took place around 10:30 am.

There were five people in the car including the driver. The driver was killed on the spot. The two other died on the way to Gedu hospital.

One of the two injured is reported to be in critical condition. He has been referred to National Referral Hospital in Thimphu.

The other injured is in stable condition.

The cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained. Source: BBS
