His Holiness the Je Khenpo appointed Dorji Peljor as the new Lam of Dogar Tashidingkha Goenpa in Paro yesterday. Lam Dorji Peljor is from Dogar Dapisa in Paro. Prior to his present appointment he served as a teacher at the Pemaling Dratshang in Gelephu as per the command of His Holiness the Je Khenpo.

At an early age of 11, Lam Dorji Peljor was enrolled with the Pung-Thim Zhung Dratshang where he studied under the former Dogar Lopen Nawang Tenzin.

At 22, under the guidance of Tshenyid Lopen of Thadra goenpa in Thimphu, he practiced Ladrup Nyentsham and Phurpai Nyentsham for 7 years. Source: BBS
