Maruti Suzuki, India’s leading carmaker, is recalling 100,000 A-star hatchbacks to fix a fuel leakage problem.
The recall is for cars produced between November 2008 and August 2009. The company said it is repairing the fuel pump gasket free of cost.
In Bhutan, Zimdra automobiles- the sole Maruti dealer in the country has sold between 60-70 A-star cars from February to August 2009.
The dealer has not received a single complain from the customers so far.
Zimdra said they will not be able to do anything unless they receive notice from the parent company. Source: BBS
