Jamphel Yangzom, a student of Rinchen Higher Secondary School bagged the most coveted prize of Druk Star, the voice of Drukyul- a swift car sponsored by Zimdra Automobiles. She competed against four other finalists to win the title of Druk Star with over 2,41,000 votes.

Jamphel also received three druk air tickets sponsored by Pelden TMT. RICBL is providing insurance worth Nu. 1 million to the winner. The runners- up is Chencho Norbu, a teacher.

RICBL is also giving insurances worth Nu. 7,70,000 to Chencho Norbu, and Nu. 6,70,000 to Sonam Tobgay, who is the second runners-up.

Phurba Chencho and Jangchub Choden, who came fourth and fifth, will receive insurances worth Nu. 5,70,000 each. The Bhutan Insurance will be providing insurance worth a Nu. 1,00,000 each to the five finalists.

In addition, it also gave Nu. 20,000 to Phurba Chencho and Jangchub Choden.

BBS, who is the broadcast partner of Druk Star has awarded audiovisual contracts worth Nu. 25,000 to all five finalists. All the finalists were also given Drukair tickets.  Source: BBS
