National security advisor to the prime minister of India, Shiv Shankar Menon, and foreign secretary Nirupama Rao who were on a one-day visit met prime minister Lyonchhoen Jigmi Y Thinley in his office on Friday.
Mr Shiv Shankar Menon said that they have come to Bhutan to further strengthen the relationship between the two countries. He congratulated Lyonchhoen on a successful SAARC summit in Thimphu and said that it was clearly one of the best organised and memorable events, and quite an achievement. Source: Kuenselonline
