We were fortunate to visit the Himalayan Mountain Kingdom of Bhutan in the fall of 2004. It was one of the most memorable of many trips around the globe. In part it was through the efforts of our excellent guide Namgay Dorji (Bhutan Majestic Travel). His knowledge of every aspect of Bhutanese life from history, religion, the people, customs, culture and Bhutanese cuisine was so informative. We enjoyed the colourful national and religious festivals which re such a great part of Bhutanese life. Amidst the breathtaking, majestic scenery, Namgay introduced us to the exotic flora and fauna. This charming young man was always available to answer our questions or fulfill any of our requests.
