Thank you so much for your generous hospitality while we were in Bhutan last month ! We had a marvelous time with your Travel Specialists, Sherub and Choki.
We visited many cities in Bhutan including Paro, Thimphu, Punakha, and Probjikha, which was our favorite because not only I survived her 3 day uphill and downhill trek on grounds above 10,000 feet in altitude, but I also saw black necked cranes, which only visit the Probjikha Valley in Bhutan from Tibet during the winter !
My other fond experience during the trip was discovering the chili cheese dish !!! I even bought a super sized bag of chili so that I can attempt to make the traditional Bhutanese entree.
Finally, a moment which Dave and I will remember…forever…was when we were blessed at the Divine Madman temple by a monk with a giant stick…
