Day 3 Paro – Punakha (145 km. About 5 hours drive): After an early breakfast drive to Punakha. En route visit Simtokha Dzong and halt at Dochula Pass (10,000ft. for a cup of tea/coffee and enjoy a spectacular view of the Himalayan mountains. Overnight: Hotel

Day 8 Morning: See the last day of Jambay Lhakhang festival:
Afternoon: Visit several ancient and sacred monasteries such as the Kencho Sum Lhakhang, Tamshing which are considered important pilgrimage spots. Visit the Bumthang Swiss farm. Overnight: Hotel
Day 9 Bumthang — Wangduephodrang: En route visit the Watch Tower in Trongsa and the Trongsa Dzong courtyard. Overnight: Hotel
